LUMO

A calmer language for men’s mental wellness

Brand identity · app interface · social content

LUMO — Project overview

01 / OVERVIEW

The starting point.

Lumo is a concept for a mental wellness app for men navigating demanding careers and personal responsibilities. The design challenge was to make support feel approachable and emotionally aware without relying on the usual wellness clichés. The identity needed to carry the same quiet confidence from a single mark to an app screen, social post and printed touchpoint.

THE BRIEF

The design task.

Create a visual identity and content language that balances softness with structure, makes space for vulnerability and offers a gentle path into everyday wellness tools.

02 / DIRECTION

A visual language.

A radiating circular symbol gives the brand a recognizable centre. The surrounding forms suggest both a moment of pause and an outward movement. Muted blue-grey, peach, pale green and cream soften the experience, while open layouts keep the information easy to approach. Century Gothic and concise, reassuring language give the visuals a measured rhythm.

03 / APPLICATIONS

The system in use.

The system is tested beyond the logo: stationery, a website presentation, app screens, social content and editorial imagery. Short prompts and calm pacing support the concept of regular engagement without making the interaction feel demanding. Photography and illustration focus on reflection and movement rather than clinical imagery.
